11/04/2019 New information has been released providing statistics about federal offenders (prisoners and parolees) under the authority of corrective services agencies as at 30 June 2018. The data cube presents information for New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania, the Northern Territory and the Australian Capital Territory. The data cube presents statistics on sex, age, Indigenous status and country of birth of federal offenders.

From 2018, information on federal prisoners has been published for Victoria, where this was previously not provided.

The publication text has been updated with commentary and graphs on federal offenders.
